My heart is numb. It’s not broke, it’s numb. It’s numb because of hard situations....
one day at a time
Therapeutically expressing my thoughts, feelings, and experiences into words.
Words have power to encourage and when you speak you give them life.
Search, seek, and find the positives when life becomes too difficult.
First and foremost, I love life. With unfortunate circumstances occuring over the past few years, I value and appreciate life with a whole new perspective. However, life can be difficult and tiredsome provoking me to quit and just give up. But, I keep moving forward and look for the positives in life…
Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.
The past is just a reference.
Whatever life throws at you, even if it hurts you, just be strong and fight through it. Remember, strong walls shake but never collapse.
And once the storm is over, you won't remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won't even be sure whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won't be the same person who walked in. That's what this storm's all about.
Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.
Until you're broken, you don't know what you're made of. It gives you the ability to build yourself all over again, but Stonger than ever.
Moving on is a process; moving forward is a choice. There's a slight difference between the two. Moving on is letting things happen; moving forward is making things happen.
The one who falls and gets up is so much stronger than the one who never fell.
I write about my life and the ups and downs I face. I try to look for the positives in every negative situation. My hope is to encourage others who may be facing a hard time and feeling like they’re alone. We all may face different trials but we all can use some encouragement through those trying times.
No one can control your emotions, only you have that power and choice.
Thoughts come in two forms: negaitive and positive. Take hold, eat and allow the positive thoughts to take root. Dispose the negatives and do not allow them to take root.
